Boy Ride Girl Ride Ride
February 15, 2003
Karen and I started out this morning by heading out in different directions. She headed south and I headed west. She went to meet the girls while I went to meet up with the guys. I arrived at the Coco’s in Lakewood and ordered coffee when Don and Danny showed up. Shortly after Kevin and then Brian arrived. We had a great breakfast and a lot of male conversation before leaving about 30 minutes late. We rode south to the circle on PCH, then headed north. We stopped for a while at the Victory dealer that we are planning to start our Cruisers4Kids ride at, and then headed up to the peninsula. It was a little overcast, but it was not cold and it was a great day to ride. After making a short stop at the location of our first poker stop, we headed down the coast to Walkers Café where we stopped for a short drink before heading down through Long Beach and back down the PCH to Tumbleweeds where we met up with the girls. We had a late lunch, swapped stories, played a little pool, and then made a quick stop at the Honda dealer in Huntington Beach before heading home. Once more we have proven that the riding in Southern Cal is about the best there is in the winter. For those of you who missed out today, I can only say, “Too Bad”. I hope to see you all next weekend for the next adventure on the byways…….
