Hollygrove Toy Ride
April 27, 2003
We started early this
morning with breakfast at IHOP at 7 am.
Kevin, Brian, Karen, Carol, Don and Mike showed up and Mark (a friend of
Don’s) arrived before we left. We had a great meal and good conversation before
making the short ride to Hahn Motor Sports in Anaheim. We were just a little surprised to find we
were the only cruisers there. Sport bikes were the preferred transport at this
ride. We registered, got some rather week, then way too strong coffee and had a
look at the bikes on the showroom floor, Bryan seemed partial to the scooters,
then decided to make our own run for the day.
So we went back to our place, picked up some extra flyers, and some club
t-shirts, and headed for a circuit of a few dealers we hoped would display them
for us. By the time we got to the beach
area, Don, Carol, and Mark had to leave us, so Karen, Kevin and I met with
Celly for a Bar-B-Q lunch at Lucille’s, then dropped by the Victory dealership
before saying our good-byes and heading home.
The day was a little cool for summer and a little warm for winter, but
sunny and clear. All in all a beautiful day for a nice ride. Enjoy the pictures and I’ll see you on the
byways…………….
