Meeting Day Ride

We decided to take a short ride today so we met at noon at Angelo’s Drive In. We took time for a cool drink and some chit chat before heading toward Irvine Lake. We took a scenic round about route driving through East Anaheim and Villa Park. We stopped for a few minutes at the lake to discuss the possibility of using the picnic area for our May Cruisers 4 Kids Ride. We mounted up again and headed farther south through Santiago Canyon past Cooks Corner. This is one of the most beautiful roads locally for riders, on one the most beautiful days in the country in the middle of winter. Heading northwest again in a zigzag fashion toward our lunch spot, we stopped briefly for a short break and a cool drink. From here we headed west toward Kathy May's Restaurant for dinner and our meeting. The meeting got started about 10 minutes and we managed to keep it going an extra half hour, but we managed to get most of the chapter business covered. I’m looking forward to the changes taking place during the next few weeks to build this club into something we can all be proud of. We are going to need everyone’s help and input so I hope to, see you on the byways………….
