Day 04 - July 27, 2001

 We started another day late and ate breakfast at IHOP so that at least we were ready for the ride. We took side roads to get out of the Memphis area, and then headed north from Millington after getting gas. We rode about 70 miles when I realized that at some place we had changed roads and we had to change directions a little. At a hundred miles when we had to stop for a potty break, but of course there was no place close and we had to double back about 30 miles to keep from running out of gas. Then Miesha got hungry so we had to find a place to eat. We headed north again, but this time I missed a turn and we had to go another 6 miles to get turned around. Then we finally arrived at Paducah for the evening only to find out that the internet in the entire area is down. We checked with several locations and found a huge outage. I guess this is a good night to read. So I guess I'll try again later, so till then we'll see you on the byways..............
